In these impressive natural surroundings rich in the magical and mythical, Peppe and his family share with their guests the relaxing atmosphere and traditional flavours that are an integral part of Castelluccio di Norcia’s history. In 1986, half-jokingly, but at the same time enchanted by the place and with a passion for paragliding, we threw open our doors to guests. The work impassioned us and we experienced an emotional
rediscovery for the quality and flavours of Castelluccio’s agro-silvo-pastorale (agricultural-woodlands-sheep farming) tradition that take you right back in time. The view from the restaurant terrace and La Taverna’s rooms, where you are lulled by the chirping of swallows nesting in the eaves, is stunning.
